19th exhibition: Ines Honfi "Primavera" from From 3 to 15 April 2008

Agnes Honfi was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is a 35-year-old painter. Her name is Ines Honfi as well thus she uses both(Hungarian and Spanish) since she was raised in a bilingual culture. Her education: from 1990 to 1993 Agnes studied at the Regina Pacis College of Fine Arts in Buenos Aires where she was qualified as a teacher of art. From 1994 on she studied painting and was graduated from the Regina Pacis College of Fine Arts in 1996. One year later she came to Hungary, she has been living in Budapest since then. At the moment she is spending a few months in Denmark. Her gallery show, called PRIMAVERA will be opened by the Argentinian Ambassador to Hungary, His Excellency Domingo Cullen. Date: 2nd April 2008 at 6 pm.

16th exhibition and bookshow: More than 120 guests arrived on 22nd Nov at 6:30 pm to attend the first public bookshow of Tales from Shakespeare II. by Charles and Mary Lamb, illustrated by Zoltán Herpai. His twenty original colorful works were to see from 22 Nov to 27 Dec 2007 at Képíró Art Gallery.

14th exhibition from 27th Sept 2007 to 17th Oct 2007: 25 works of Peter Klitsch were to see at Képíró Art Gallery. As a member of the Viennese School of Fantastic Realism he was a colleague and a friend of Fr. Hundertwasser.





13th exhibition from 20th Aug to 22nd Sept 2007: A well-known artist, Andrea Vertel, a contemporary ceramicist in Hungary showed her uniqe grotesque humour, that could be seen on the figures' faces of her works.

4. On 1st Sept more than hundred people attended the opening ceremony of the popular graphic artist and designer, László Egyed www.webegyed.com. His exhibition with a title: "Nudes and No-Nudes" was open to 15th September 2006.

        


3. STG is Tamás Solymos who is a painter and an aesthete, his exhibition called CONTRASTS was opened by a painter artist, Pál Sáfár on 18th August at Képíró Art Gallery which lasted until 30th Aug. 2006.

       


2. Réka Somogyi -as a well known silkpainter in Hungary - dedicated her exhibition(from 22th June to 8th July 2006) to the memory of Hundertwasser www.kunsthauswien.com. The exhibition was opened by Tibor Szabó journalist.

           


1. The first year old Képíró Art Gallery celebrated its birthday with a gallery show of Mazzag István - hungarian contemporary painter, his oil paintings of tulips and landscapes' - was opened by Gábor Bojár (Graphisoft, Budapest). This exhibition was open from 06.06.06. to 20th June 2006.
